“Elizabeth” is a variety of Magnolia brooklynensis and is a deciduous flowering tree. When mature it should reach about 20~30 feet and bear fragrant yellow flowers in Spring. It is a cross between the Cucumber tree (M. acuminata) and Yulan magnolia (M. denudata). Older branches may split to reveal the orange inner bark - an attractive feature in winter.
